Five Reasons Why You Should Support John Morse Waldorf Methods School

State funding doesn't cover the full cost of a John Morse education.
State funds don’t cover most of our specialty education teacher funding—the wonderful programs like handwork, woodwork, structured artistic movement, music and gardening that make the John Morse educational experience so unique. Through their support of the John Morse Guild, parents, faculty and friends provide John Morse with the additional operating resources required to fund these priority programs and many other expenses including athletics, class funds, library acquisitions, handwork and gardening supplies and teacher education.

You'll help improve the quality of student life.
Contributions help fill academic needs for specialty programs, but also help with campus maintenance and extra-curricular activities that enhance the educational experience.

2006-2007 PLEDGE DRIVE
The John Morse Guild annual pledge drive raises funds to support our school's unique Waldorf curriculum. Our goal this year for the pledge drive is $35,000 with 100% family participation.

The Guild's anticipated expenses for the 2006-2007 school year total over $72,000. The Guild supports movement, classroom repairs, teacher training and other activities at John Morse. 

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

PLEDGE – Complete a John Morse Guild pledge card to add your donation to those who have already pledged to support the John Morse Waldorf curriculum. The Guild suggests a tax-deductible donation of $25 per child per month for the first child attending John Morse Waldorf School, and $15 per month for each additional child. If you can give more, great! If you are unable to pledge $25 per month, any amount—even a one-time gift—is very much appreciated and will help us meet our goal.

FULFILL YOUR PLEDGE – For those who have already pledged, THANK YOU! Please be sure to fulfill the pledge you made by meeting the payment schedule you selected. INCREASE YOUR PLEDGE – If you have already pledged, but are now able to do more, please consider making an additional donation as your budget permits.

DONATE BY CREDIT CARD – The Guild has established an account with eTapestry to allow donations by credit card. If you would like your pledge to be charged to your credit card, please write your credit card information on the back of your pledge card (all information will be kept strictly confidential). We have also added this feature to the John Morse website so that you can go online and make your credit card donation yourself.

EXPAND OUR SUPPORT NETWORK – Encourage friends and relatives who would like to support John Morse to participate in the pledge drive. Additional pledge drive brochures and pledge cards are available in the school office. All donations to the John Morse Guild are tax-deductible.
