Technology Literacy
Technology Literacy is the ability to use computers, software, and other technology. This is an important skill in the work place, because almost every job requires that you know something about computers. Our world is very technologically based now, so the more technologically skilled you are, the better. I feel that my technology skills are improving everyday.
I am still learning how to use certain programs, like Dreamweaver, but I feel very comfortable using a computer and feel I have strong technology skills. I use technology everyday to communicate with my friends and teachers. I also feel confident using the computer to research things on the internet. I enjoy learning about technology and often help out my friends or parents with technology.
Evidence
In my Digital Media class we had to create a CD cover of an artist we liked. In this project I learned a lot about Adobe PhotoShop, such as how to use layers and to do different effects. I have never worked so hard at a piece of software, but now I can use that skill when I work on future projects. I think this shows my technology skills because I had to be proficient at PhotoShop in order to complete the project.

Also in my Digital Media class we created web site banners advertising our own portfolios. You ca click on them to be taken to the web site.
