Career Preparation: Within the Project Based Learning curriculum, students are exposed to a variety of real world, job related experiences. Reflecting on these experiences and work assigned in advisory, students explore and set goals for internship, career and college options that are then developed within the PLP.
In order to prepare for a career, you need to learn responsibility, self-discipline and time management. Honesty and personal integrity are also expected on any job. In addition, it is important to have a good understanding of career paths and how to find jobs in your chosen field. You will develop a career plan that describes your goals and plan of action. In order to develop a career plan, you need to compile information about yourself, information about requirements for education or training and information about the job market.

- Resume and Cover Letter
- Course Work (if relevant to career goals)
- Internship Certificate of Completion
- Internship Final Evaluation
- Internship Work Summary
- Letter of Recommendation specifically addressing student’s career goals and preparation
- Senior Project if it specifically addresses student’s career interest and goals
- Career Assessment or Project that researches student’s career interest
- Student Contracts from Classes
- Ads & promotional activities created for school events
- Project Based Learning ~ Explain it and say why it's helping prepare for the business world.
