Citizenship and Ethics: Empowered in a culture of Trust, Respect, and Responsibility, individuals act as principled and engaged citizens for the betterment of the community.
Being successful does not only pertain to academic or financial achievement. The most successful individuals are those who also purposely contribute to their community and conscientiously do what they know is right, even when it is not the easiest choice.
Examples of citizenship and ethics include:
- Letter of recommendation that speaks about your citizenship and ethics.
- Evidence of holding a position of student governance in ASB
- Certificate from NTHS or other organizations
- Evidence of volunteer work in the school or community
- Student of the Month Awards
Official Definition: " Long an historic rationale for public education, business and employer groups have also found recent high school graduates lacking in this area. A culture of trust and responsibility, community service along with the Senior Project instill civic responsibility and ethics."
