Centaurs are half-human and half-animal race of creatures in Greek Mythology but there are many mythical beasts you can create.

Step #1: Find Your Photos


x Find a pictures of animals, your torso, etc. and open them in Photoshop.

x If you cant see all the images, Right-Click and select "Move to New Window."

Step #2: Cut the Background ~


x Using the Quick Select Tool or the Magic Wand...

Step #3: Transform the Size ~


x Zoom-Out by hitting Ctrl - (minus)

x Hit Ctrl+T and adjust the size of the images to match each other.

x If necessary, lower the Opacity of the top layer to see beneath it.

Step #4: Clone Stamp ~


x Turn the visibility off on the upper layer.

x Select the Clone Stamp

x The Clone Stamp copies one area to another.

x Set the clone area by holding down the Alt key and clicking.

Step #5: Liquify Tool ~


x Go to: Filter > Liquify

x Select the Forward Warp Tool

Step #6: Set the Brush Tool ~


x Select the Brush Tool

x Set your colors to default black & white or just hit the letter (D).

x Then switch colors by hitting "X" or clicking the arrowso that Black is the foreground color.

Step #8: Mask Tool ~


x Add a Layer Mask

x Begin brushing with a soft round Black brush.

x The color black erases and white puts it back. Try it!

x Lower the Opacity and Flow of the brush for a better effect.

Last Step: Save Your Project & Attach:


x Save the file as YOUR NAME! so we know whose it is.


x Save it as a .jpeg approximately 500 pixels wide by going to: File > Save for Web & Devices

[Note that .jpeg is the most widely use format for web graphics. That's because it makes the smallest file sizes so pages load quickly. Also you need to shrink the pixel width under image size. This is also important to make web pages load quickly.]
