Step #1: Open Your Project in Photoshop ~


x Select the Text Tool.

x Type your words.

Step #2: Select your Font ~


x Click the Font Family in the menubar.

x Then hit the Down arrow to scroll through the fonts until you find one you like.

x Thick or Bold Condensed type form works best.

Step #3: Rasterize ~


x Go to: Layer > Rasterize > Type.

Step #4: Transform ~


x Go to: Edit > Free Transform or hit Ctrl+T

x Hold Ctrl ctrl and grab the corner...

x When done, hit the check check or hit Enter.

Step #5: Duplicate the Layer ~


x Right-Click on the layer and select Duplicate.

x Hit Ctrl+T and right-click on the text again...

x Select Flip Vertical

Step #6: Shadow ~


x Adjust the the text so it looks like a shadow.

Step #7: Layer Mask ~


x Click Add layer mask at the bottom and click inside the Layer mask thumbnail...

x Select the Gradient Tool,

x Set your colors to default black & white or just hit the letter (D).

x Then switch colors by hitting "X" or clicking the arrowso that Black is the foreground color.

x Drag the Gradient accross the text...

Step #8: Bevel & Emboss and Opacity ~


x Click the fx and add Bevel and Emboss and any other effects you want.

x Lower the Opacity on the reflection layer too...
