First Web Page - Introduction to Dreamweaver

Project Summary

"You are a group of web developers making sure the pages you design are accessible to all users, including those with physical disabilities. It's the law. Web Designers need to be aware of the barriers disabled users encounter, the assistive technologies available, and how to build web pages accordingly.

But it doesn't stop with handicapped internet users. The principles of "Universal Design" benefit everyone by making your pages better for everybody."

8.5 x 11 inch magazine sized shoe advertisement suitable for Magazine.
  • A rubric titled "What Makes a good Magazine ad?"
  • Students grade themselves using their own rubrics which they created and justify that grade during presentations.
    • Naturally nobody gives themselves an "F" but very few students give themselves an "A" either. It's interesting. Something about using your own criteria forces you to be more honest with yourself.
    • Rubrics also give the presentation a purpose because their presentations at the end of the project are based on the grades students give themselves from their own rubrics.
