Mission Statement:

To prepare students to excel in an information and collaboration based technologically advanced society.

By combining Project Based Learning with technology, Sacramento New Technology High School empowers students to reach new levels of performance and involvement in school curriculum. We appeal to students that have the ability to be successful in school but are not motivated by traditional curriculums.

Sacramento New Technology High School:

bullet Is a small school that will never be more than 500 students enrolled in grades 9-12

bullet Prepares graduates for college and/or living wage careers

For many years public school reform efforts and infusing technology into the curriculum have been consistent themes in efforts to improve American education. Yet for the most part, American schools still look the same as they did twenty years ago. The pedagogy is consistently the same, and most are not happy with the results. Sacramento City Unified school district, through e21, is making major changes within the system and getting results.
