New Tech is the Place to Be! We are recognized across the nation for leading edge education. We have hundreds of visitors every year from all over America who want to be involved with us and follow our lead. Here is just some of our national exposure:

UCLA Idea Comes to New Tech: UCLA Idea or the Institute for Democracy, Education and Access (IDEA) has asked New Tech to be a part of a state wide study of schools. IDEA supports and studies educational innovations that promise to correct persistent educational inequalities. This is quite an honor as they looked at all of the schools in the state of California, narrowed it to 60 schools, visited all 60 to select 10 and we are one of the ten!
New Tech Pancake Breakfast: The breakfast fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday - May 16th - 8 am to noon. If you would like to get involved please call Sarah and she will get your name and contact information to Sybil Lawson, the Fundraising Chair.
S.H.A.R.E Cards: If you shop at FoodMax and Save Mart supermarkets the PTSA can earn up to 3% if you use one of the school's S.H.A.R.E Cards. If you need one have your child pick one up in the font office for immediate use.
See's Candy Sale: Sophomores will be selling See's Candy from March 2nd to March 16th...Just in time for Easter. All Candy will be delivered by May 1st.
Open House: Save the date! Open house is scheduled for May 7th from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. All students are required to attend as this is their "Exhibition" for their digital portfolio for Advisory and key to their grade in that class.
