For my community service hours I volunteered to help the Asian Fair at Sac New Tech High School on April 28 2005, I went to Elk's Lodge to help serve food on December 31st 2005, I helped out in the car that was held by Sac New Tech High School on October 22 2006, I helped out at a carnival behind my school on May 20 2006, and I also volunteered to help serve food again at Elks Lodge on August 25 2006.

On April 28th 2005, I volunteered to help the Asian Fair. And what I did was that I was in the fashion show, so I dressed in Hmong clothes and I walked down the aisle with my partner. Before the big day, I was required to stay after school on days that I was assigned to stay to practice for the fashion show and for this I received 6 hours and 30minutes. Also throughout the whole time I had a lot of fun being in the fashion show and being a part of the Asian Fair.

On December 31st 2006, it was New Years Eve's and they wanted volunteers to go and help serve food and so I volunteered. While I was doing this there were many things that I took into consideration. Some of the things that I thought about while doing this community service was that I would not like to be a waitress. When it reached the time where we have to carry the plates out it was really hard for me because the plates were really heavy and they were also really hot too. Overall it was a great experience and it was really fun working with students from the same school.

On October 22nd 2006, my school held a car wash in front of Rite Aid on Freeport blvd. and I volunteered to help out. Basically we just wash cars and hold up signs and so that people will know that we are having a carwash. And for this carwash I only stay for 4 hours.

On May 20th 2006, they were going to have a carnival behind our schools and they needed help so I volunteered to help out. The work that was assigned to me in this volunteering was that I was responsible for a booth. The booth that I was assigned was the golf booth I also had a partner to help me and his name was Ger Lao. At the end of the day, I think that it was a lot of fun.

And Finally on August 25th 2006, they needed help serving at Elks Lodge, so I decided to help out again. It was sort of like the volunteer that I did before but it was more complicated this time because I was in charge of the order of serving. For this I had to keep in mind which table I've already serve and which one that I hadn't. Through out this volunteering there were also many other things that happened. There were other groups that serve in the wrong order, drop plates, and spilled drinks, etc. Luckily that was not my group, my group we were trying really hard to not do anything wrong. At the end of the day it was time to count the tips and divided to each person in the group. While this was going on there was another problem. Some group received more and some received less. Our group was one of the group that received less.
