Why Attend PTSO Meetings?
PTSO Meetings Are Informative: The principal provides an update on school activities, educational goals, and needs of the school. In addition, teacher representatives attend PTSO meetings and provide updates on classroom curriculum and activities. Committee reports are given on upcoming events. Attending PTSO meetings provides parents a complete overview of the day-to-day activities at the school as well as long-range plans.
Caleb Greenwood Has An Active PTSO: The PTSO sponsors fund raisers, events, and activities. The following are a few examples of what Caleb Greenwood PTSO does:
- Art Programs in the classroom
- Assemblies such as music programs, fitness and health, author's day, science adventure, etc.
- Book fairs and Library Events
- Fall Carnival and Holiday Breakfast (Community Outreach)
- Talent Show
- "Caught Ya Being Good" School Store Vouchers
- Family Activities such as Pizza Night
