      Earl Warren Healthy Start is a collaborative process that allows the school and community to form partnerships, mobilize community interests and support, and advocate for changes that help students perform better in school by starting each day in the best possible physical and mental condition.  Healthy Start provides the link to resources such as: mentoring, tutoring, mental health counseling, case management, linkages to health care, parent leadership development and referral to other community services.  Healthy Start leverage and coordinate other services so that fragmentation or duplication of these services is eliminated.
