Golden Empire Elementary was notified on September 9 that our school was awarded the No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon Award.  This is a national award which was given to only 320 schools throughout the United States.  We were the only elementary school in the Sacramento area to receive this prestigious award.

  WOW!  Our fantastic students scored an incredible 18 point increase over last year's API.  We have the 5th highest API among elementary schools in our district.

Congratulations to all!

Golden Empire received the Distinguished School award and the Title 1 Academic Achievement award in the 2007-2008 year!
