Message from PTO President, Lydia Cruz:

PTO meetings are the second Tuesday of every month. We
discuss goals for our students, upcoming events, the PTO budget and new
ideas.
There is a need for volunteers and new committee chairpersons.
Without your support some events may not be possible. If you are
interested in making a difference in your child's academic experiences,
please sign up to be a PTO volunteer. A sign-up binder is located in
the front office, or you can call the school and leave a message for a board
member to contact you personally. We look forward to seeing you at
Back-to-School night. |

1. Save Box Tops from the more than 330
participating General Mills products. Send them to Golden Empire.
2. Shop online at Box Tops for Education
Marketplace. Go to boxtop4education.com and make purchases at
store like Barnes and Nobles, Eddie Bauer and PetSmart. Select Golden
Empire Elementary School when you register and up to 10% of your
qualifying purchases will be donated to our school.
3. Charge with the Box Tops for Education
Visa card. Apply for the Box Tops Visa by calling
1-800-227-9605. Be sure to designate Golden Empire Elementary School
because 1% of your card purchases are donated to our school. The card
has no annual fee and a low APR. |

Target School Fund
Raising Program

Every time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card,
Target will donate up to 1% of your purchase to Golden Empire
How the Program Works:

You can sign up for the School Fund raising program by
calling 1-800-316-6142 or by going to
www.target.com
|
|
Designate Golden Empire and Target will donate a equal
amount to 1% of your Target Visa or Target Guest card purchases.
Target Visa Card used elsewhere, Target store will donate 1/2 % (minus
returns, cash advances, balance transfers, and purchases of other
equivalents and minus sales tax.)
|
|
Target will track the purchases and will distribute the
accumulated donations to Golden Empire in March and September.
