A note about the news:

The news section will be comprised mostly of events, meetings, etc, and the changes that have been made to them. It's a descriptive calendar. News items will be preceded by the date the item was added.

 

4.12.10: Open House

Isador Cohen will be holding Open House on April 14th, 2010 at 6 p.m. We invite all parents to come and check out their child's classroom. This is a chance to see what your child has been doing in class. Open House will start out in the cafeteria. Remember parents, this is not a time for conferencing with your child's teacher. It is an opportunity to see what they have been doing.

 

4.12.10 Community Meeting

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010, Isador Cohen will be holding a community meeting. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. We would like to invite parents and community members to attend. We will discuss a variety of issues, including safety.

 

4.12.10 Book Fair

Isador Cohen is holding a book fair during Open House, it will be open from about 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Students and parents will have an opportunity to purchase books and other items from the Book Fair. You may also purchase books to donate to your child's classroom.

 

4.12.10 Governor's Challenge

Please remind your student to continue to chart their Activity Log through the month. The Challenge is from March 29th thru April 25th. You will need to hand in a completed Log on Monday, April 26th.
