Sacramento START is designed to meet children's academic, social, emotional, developmental and recreational needs.  START is designed for children in grades 1-6 and specifically to meet their after school needs from Monday through Friday.

START includes three inter-related components:

Homework assistance
Enrichment curriculum
Recreation

The program utilizes and Academic Alignment Coach to ensure that the school day curriculum is aligned with that of the START program.
