Hello and welcome to the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School website! Thomas Jefferson is a K-6 school where we provide a quality and excellent education for ALL students. The teachers and staff of Thomas Jefferson are dedicated to the high academic and social achievement of your child.

"Our state adopted basal programs are Open Court (Language Arts) and Saxon (Math). Students in first through sixth grade are leveled for math according to their Math skills. We supplement our Math and Language Arts programs with the Standards based program, Standards Plus. Standards Plus helps us to continue to focus on the Kindergarten-sixth Math and Language State Standards. We monitor the academic achievement of all students through Open Court Assessments, Saxon Math Assessments, Benchmarks and California Standards Test.

The teachers and staff at Thomas Jefferson believe we cannot educate and prepare your child for a promising future without your support. We strongly invite each parent to become actively engaged and involved by joining the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), School Site Council (SSC), and English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) as well as classroom room parents and volunteers.
