Biography: Ted Appel received his Bachelor degree from American University in Washington D.C. and a Masters in Education from the University of New Hampshire. He also holds a social science and special education teaching credential. He began his career in education working for Outward Bound “youth at risk” programs in New York, Connecticut and North Carolina. He taught history and government in Connecticut before moving to Sacramento and teaching for seven years at C.K. McClatchy High School in the Sacramento City Unified School District. He worked for two years supporting new high school teachers before becoming Assistant Principal and then Principal at Luther Burbank. He is now in his eighth year as Principal at LBHS. |
