Creative and Performing Arts

The Creative and Performing Arts small learning community will utilize rigorous standards of excellence to engage students in the development of positive life skills and appreciation of the arts, through the creative means of  music, visual arts, dance and drama. Students will have opportunities to participate in the visual and performing arts community and will be prepared for further study beyond graduation.

Do you want to be a rock star? An opera singer? A famous movie star? Are you the next Picasso or Van Gogh? If these sound like your “thing”, the Creative and Performing Arts SLC is for you.

Electives include music appreciation, vocal and instrumental music, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting, digital photography, graphic design, drama, stage production and dance.

Careers include actor, graphic designer, fine artist, dancer, computer animator, screen writer, director, interior designer, musician, photographer, singer, model.
