School of Public Service

The School of Public Service small learning community is a family committed to preparing students for entering careers dedicated to protecting and improving our community. Our students will master the skills necessary to become caring, knowledgeable, productive leaders of society.

Would you like to work with kids? How about a career in law enforcement or law? Is your interest in  psychology or social services? How about a mental health career? Do you want to be in politics? The Human Services SLC is for you.

Electives include psychology, sociology, early childhood education, classes in cultural diversity, political science, street law, and mock trial.

Careers include teacher, police officer, correctional officer, lawyer, paralegal, psychologist, psychiatrist, sociologist, and politician.
