Playing and Conditioning over the Summer
If you wish to condition yourself over the summer to prepare yourself for the upcoming season then a mixture of short and long distance running is recommened to build stamina and speed.
Playing: Get out on the courts and hit the ball with a friend of family member.
I also encourage players to sign up on the Sacramento Recreation Department website and sign up for one of their camps. The cost is $60 for each 3 week session.
Stay hydrated and out of the sun during the hottest part of the day which is 3-5pm. I recommened all conditioning and playing end by 12 noon and not restart until 6pm.
Attitude and commitment
Having a postive attitude whether you are a beginner or not is important for the entire team.
Positivity and winning go hand in hand in sports and life.
Committing to the team and your teammates is a requirement for all members of the team.
When Rosemont wins everyone wins.
Supporting your teammmates and yourself on the court will help the team build it s character through the commitments of its personnel.
