Work Permits

It is a state mandated requirement that anyone under the age of 18 years old must have a valid work permit.

At Rosemont High School, work permits are available through the Attendance Office.

It can take up to 24 hours to process a work permit application.

Work permit applications are hanging on the wall near the Attendance Office and available before school at lunch and after school.

You can also download a copy from the following website: Work Permits

All students who want a work permit must meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • At least a 90% Attendance Rate
  • Live within our attendance area

Work permit verifications occur every quarter to determine students eligibility and monitor academic progress.

If a student is determined ineligible, the work permit will be revoked. NO EXCEPTIONS!

STUDENTS WHO WORK DURING THE SUMMER, MUST HAVE A WORK PERMIT.  THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS FOR SUMMER WORK.
