Technology: Empowerment and Technology
We're definitely not 'Nerd' High.
We use technology the same way everyone else does: to accomplish our goals, in school and work. We are proficient at using 21st century tools to succeed, and every student has access to a computer. 1:1 ratio of computers to students.
Team members share and interact via the network like the real world. Work can be contributed by team members individually or shared via the internet. Students, teachers and parents, all communicate via e-mail. 
Each student has storage space to create andmaintain a Professional Portfolio to store writings, projects, presentations, and any other instructional material.
Parents are able to check progress on the web access Grade Portal.
Instruction at New Tech is fundamentally different than at most high schools. Technology is only part of what we do. Yes, technology is part of the curriculum, but it's not our main focus.
