Open Enrollment- The dates for the district's open enrollment period are as follows:  Online - January 12th through February 6th, 2009.  The online website is: http://www.scusd.edu/open_enrollment/index.htm

In person, open enrollment will take place at the Serna Center from January 20th - January 22nd, 2009.

High School Visitations - For eighth graders interested in visiting high schools: 

McClatchy's visitations will take place on December 3rd and 4th.

West Campus' will take place on 12/4, 12/9, 12/11, 12/18, 1/6,and 1/8.  Please check the high school web pages for more info.  Application essays must now be completed at West during finals week.  The dates for taking the essay are: January 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, from 4-5 pm.

Kennedy's visitations will be December 10 and 17, starting at 8:30 AM in the Little Theatre.  Open House will be Monday, December 15th at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.

End of Quarter Coming Up- The end of the quarter is slowly approaching.  Halloween marks the very end of the first quarter of our 2008-2009 school year!  October 31 will be a half day ending at 12:30pm.  Continue to work hard!

Visitations for 6th graders and their families - Interested in coming to Sutter next year?  Visitations will take place from 12/2-12/4, 12/9-12/11, and 12/16-12/18.  Families interested in visiting should contact Linda Okada at 264-4152 after November 10th.

100 Years of Sutter - It's going to be a special year as Sutter celebrates its 100th year of providing a quality education to Sacramento's children.  There will be more information to follow on special events planned to celebrate the centennial.
